Short-Term Work Experience
Various weeks throughout 2014, including weekends: Late October

Location: Belgravia, London SW1

The Academy is looking for enthusiastic individuals who would like to experience working within our busy school for short intensive periods. 
The role will include:
  • Assisting in the running of group courses: set up, tutor and student support and clean downs.
  • Working hours will be flexible with a schedule provided prior to commencement of work.
The role will suit a candidate who:
  • Is enthusiastic and thrives when working as part of a team
  • Has a good knowledge of baking and sugar craft
  • Is able to cope with physically demanding jobs
  • Is fluent in spoken English and has advanced reading and writing skills in English
  • Is eligible to work in the UK
  • Is over the age of 18

Academy Internship - Part-Time Role
2014 intake

Contract: Part-time with flexible shifts incl. weekends
Start Date: as above

 

The Academy is excited to announce its new internship programme.

We are looking for someone with previous experience, as well as a passion and knowledge for baking & decorating to join our internship programme. This role is the perfect opportunity for individuals seeking to gain insight into the business and acquire some hands-on experience. During the internship, you be situated within many of the courses as support for the team and students. The role is not always glamorous, but in return for your hard work at the Academy we offer an unrivaled learning experience and exposure to the business.

Role Description:

  •  Assisting in the running of group courses and private tuition: set up, tutor & student support, clean down
  • General course administration, including liaising directly with students
  • Course preparation
  • Working hours will be flexible with a schedule provided on commencement of work

The role will suit a candidate who:

  • Enjoys taking on responsibility and self-development
  • Is enthusiastic and thrives when working as part of a team
  • Is able to cope with physically demanding jobs
  • Has a valid health & hygiene certificate

Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK for a minimum of 2 years from their start date at the Peggy Porschen Academy. This role is a paid position and is for a contracted period of 4 months. Please be advised that preference is given to Peggy Porschen Academy past students.
