Situated just across the road from the Peggy Porschen Parlour, the Academy is nestled among the chic boutiques of Elizabeth Street in London’s fashionable Belgravia. The Academy boasts an intimate state-of-the-art teaching kitchen with a professional-grade oven and a granite bench top – a definite must in any patisserie kitchen. Students have the benefit of working at their own workstation, which includes all tools and equipment and a personal Kitchen Aid.
With classes limited to 8 students (6 on diploma modules), we ensure that each student receives individual attention, guidance and support throughout the learning process. Each student has access to their own tools and equipment and makes all of the set recipes on their own or in pairs. Nevertheless, we also promote teamwork and working as part of a group with like-minded individuals, which helps to foster professional relationships with fellow cake makers from the UK and abroad.
